At ZBKT, we handle the entire process in-house: from 3D mould design, through CNC milling and EDM of cavities, hardening and grinding, to assembly and trial injection. We also provide injection moulding services for clients who already have their own moulds.

We design the mould in CAD, accounting for material shrinkage, gating system, cooling and ejection.
CNC & EDM Machining
Cavity and channel milling, wire and sinker EDM of working elements to high precision.
Hardening & Grinding
Hardening of working elements to the required specifications and grinding of surfaces and guide elements.
Assembly & Trial Injection
Full mould assembly, trial injection and adjustments until acceptable part dimensions are achieved.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to manufacture an injection mould?
Lead time depends on complexity. Simple single-cavity moulds take 4–6 weeks; multi-cavity or complex-geometry moulds take 8–14 weeks. We state the deadline in the quote.
Can you make a mould from a finished part (without documentation)?
Yes, we offer reverse engineering. We 3D scan the part, create technical documentation and design the mould from scratch.
Do you accept moulds for repair or regeneration?
Yes. We repair and regenerate injection moulds regardless of manufacturer: insert replacement, cavity reprofiling, cooling channel repair. Assessment and quotation are free after delivery.
Do you provide injection moulding services for clients with their own mould?
Yes. We provide injection moulding services, both acceptance trials and serial production, on moulds supplied by the client.
What plastics do you work with?
We work with a wide range of thermoplastics and elastomers. The right material is selected based on functional, thermal and aesthetic requirements. We discuss the material specification during quoting.
